Abbott and Fenner, also known as A&F Business Consultants, are offering a $1000 college scholarship to a high school junior, senior or current college student.  The application is online only and is very simple and straightforward.

Abbott and Fenner College Scholarship

Here are the important details:

  • $1000 scholarship award
  • Open to high school juniors and seniors, as well as current college students
  • Online only application that consists of writing a 500-1000 word essay and submitting it via email
  • Deadline to apply is June 14 (Date varies, always double-check before adding to your list)
  • No G.P.A requirement
  • No income requirement

Winning Tips:  Although this scholarship is offered by a business consulting company, the previous winners include aspiring teachers, law students, and physical therapy candidates.  That means that students should not assume this is a scholarship only for students majoring in business or finance.  The essay question is,

“Describe your educational career and life goals.  Explain your plan for achieving these goals.  Include your degree/major, why you selected it, and how this degree/major will help you achieve your goals.”

Abbott and Fenner want to award the scholarship money to students who “have the desire and ambition to succeed.” In the essay, students need to make sure they fully answer the essay question AND tangibly show in their writing that they have an intense desire and ambition to succeed.
