Advent Calendar for Teens - Scholarship Tips

Advent calendars for teens are fun and exciting, but how about if they could also be useful for college-bound and current college students?

Last year I had a blast with my Scholarship Advent Calendar that shared a scholarship a day for students to check out and apply for and it was a huge hit! (Find it here.)

This year I’m going to change it up a bit and share a scholarship tip a day.

These will be super useful actions that scholarship-searching parents and their students can take to find more awards and increase the chances of winning them.

How will you be able to open up this scholarship tip advent calendar for teens?

They will be posted from December 1-24 on my How to Win College Scholarships Facebook page and in my private group for parents, Scholarship Help and College Talk for Parents.

Why? Because college is crazy-expensive! I’ve been there with all three of my boys.

I felt the panic of wondering where we would get the money to pay for college and as you know, it is NOT a good feeling.

The good news is that college scholarship money is FREE MONEY. I learned how to help my boys find and apply for scholarships so effectively that my husband and I did not have to take out any parent loans to help pay for their higher education. (Read my story here.)

You can do this too!

The tips that I will be sharing in my Scholarship Advent Calendar for Teens have helped thousands of families in the scholarship process.

I am here for you, but don’t just take my word for it.

This is what parents and their students are saying about the unique college scholarship strategies found in my How to Win College Scholarships ebooks:

“Hi Monica, I wanted to give you an update. My college sophomore just won another scholarship from our community foundation. It was one that is for college students only so I had to make a note for when she was eligible (your recommendation). She has been able to get by on what we had saved for her, scholarships, and govt loans. So far she has not had to tap into private loans. What you teach really works and makes things much easier.

With that being said, I am also helping my high school senior with the scholarship process. The second time around is easier for me because I know what to expect. I overheard my oldest daughter giving advice to my senior to not take it personally when I say the essay needs to be redone or polished because I have done a lot of research and know what I am talking about. That made me laugh.

I also have a high school junior and I have already begun the process for her as well… Anyway, just wanted to basically say thank you for doing what you do. You help so many people and it is so overwhelming at the start. I will keep you updated if any more scholarships are won in this household.” S.H., Indiana

“My son is at a college here in our state and his freshmen year we pulled in $18,000 in scholarships. I paid like $978.00 for his freshmen year. The information is priceless. Thank you so much.” G.G., North Carolina

I absolutely love helping families in the scholarship process and my gift to you is the priceless information revealed daily in the scholarship tips advent calendar for students.

Enjoy!
