Autism Scholarship for Students Living with ASD

This Autism scholarship is open to students and their siblings living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

This Autism Scholarship for college is open to students and their families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

This Autism Scholarship is not just for students on the Autism spectrum, but also open to direct family members of those living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Here are all the details:

The Yorkville Blankets ASD Scholarship is for prospective or current college students who are living with ASD as well as students who are parents, siblings, and children of somebody on the autism spectrum to earn an award of $500 toward continuing their education.

The Autism Scholarship was created to help provide a means to pursue a post-secondary education for those whose lives have been impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Eligibility for this Autism Scholarship

In order for your application to be considered, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Student must have ASD or have an immediate family member who has ASD
  • Student must have completed high school or earned GED through an accredited institution
  • Student must have been accepted and enrolled in a post-secondary education program including college, trade school, or vocational training program

Amount

The Yorkville Blankets ASD Scholarship will be available twice per year in the amount of $500.

Deadlines

Spring: Application must be received no later than November 15. All applications will be reviewed and you will be notified by December 15, if you have been selected to receive the award.

Fall: Application must be received no later than April 30. All applications will be reviewed and you will be notified by June 1, if you have been selected to receive the award.

Autism Scholarship Essay

In at least 500 words, please describe how Autism Spectrum Disorder has impacted your life and your education. Your essay should describe what you are planning to study during your post-secondary education and your plans after graduation.

How to Apply

To apply for the Autism scholarship please submit your application to scholarship@yorkvilleblankets.com with the email subject “Yorkville Blankets ASD Scholarship Application” before the listed deadlines.

First and Last Name
Phone Number
Permanent Address
Name of the post-secondary institution you will be attending for the term of scholarship
Essay attached in .doc format
