How Parents Can Help Students Win College Scholarships
Are you a parent who would like to help your student win college scholarships, but have no idea how to start the process?
Do you have a smart student and know they deserve to win money for school, but have little or no direction when it comes to finding and applying for scholarships?
If you answered yes to either of those questions, this Twitter chat is for YOU!My next #CampusChat Twitter chat is all about how parents can help their own students win college scholarships and I’m excited to welcome Meryl van der Merwe as my guest.
Meryl moved to the USA from South Africa 13 years ago. She started homeschooling as the local schools weren’t as academically challenging as her children were used to. Soon she discovered she loved teaching – not just her own children but other teens as well. For over 10 years she has coached various academic teams, taught at a local homeschool co op and has also taken her courses online at FundaFunda Academy which she founded. She blogs about education at FundaFunda, the website where she shares her ideas about teaching.
