CareerFitter College Scholarship

Online Career testing service, CareerFitter.com, is offering a $500 college scholarship to students who are going to college this fall.  The application is online only and very straight-forward.  Here are the details and guidelines:

  • $500 award
  • Open to students attending college in the fall of 2016
  • Minimum G.P.A. requirement is above 2.4
  • Online only
  • Essay of no more than 1000 characters required
  • Free career test strongly encouraged
  • No financial need, letters of recommendation, or transcripts required
  • Deadline:  September 15


Winning Tips:  Since this is an online essay only college scholarship, students who take the free career test will be looked upon much more favorably than those that choose not to take it.  The test is a 60 question, multiple choice exam that reveals the tester’s work personality.  After taking the test, a report is generated that shares the results, with an option to purchase the full report.  Scholarship seekers do not need to purchase anything to apply for this scholarship. 

Using the information generated in the report from the free test in the essay is, “Strongly recommended” and straight from the guidelines reveals, “We love included elaboration on your CareerFitter results if you took the CareerFitter Career Test.”  Students should watch the short video here to get a feel for the CareerFitter company and what they offer.  The essay maximum is 1000 characters, not words, so students need to use the essay space wisely.  The essay question is, “What is the perfect career for you?  Why?”  The two-part question needs a two-part answer, with specific details pertaining to the applicant to back up their career dreams and aspirations.
