Businesses and organizations that provide college scholarship money to students are just like you and me, they love and are proud of who they are!
To impress the judges, students need to mention the name of the scholarship provider in the essay if at all possible.
They can spread the love further and bring a little background knowledge about the company or organization and tie it into the essay subject to make an even better impression.
To do this, find the “mission” or “About Us” section of the company’s website and read it to become familiar with what the organization is all about.
Another resource is a LinkedIn search, as most companies have taken the time to share information to attract new employees and business with the site.

Students and parents should always double-check the spelling of each scholarship provider and make sure it is the right one, especially if using essays for more than one scholarship application.
Honestly, this college scholarship tip is easy to implement!
