Here is a smart college scholarship tip to help you or your student win more money for school!

The five P’s are:
1. Prior
2. Preparation
3. Prevents
4. Poor
5. Performance
What this essentially means for college scholarships is:
Search for college scholarships EARLY and be ready when the majority of them are due each spring.
Also, there are lots of awards with summer and early fall deadlines that should not be skipped.
It’s never too early to search for college scholarships, as they are out there for all levels of students, even elementary school kids!
While you are searching, take notes, and if the student does not qualify in his or her current year in school, jot down the year they will qualify and save yourself lots of time for future scholarship searches.
