Mattress Nerd Scholarship

Open to college-bound high school seniors and current college students.

Amount:  $1000

Deadline:  April 1

School Spirit Scholarship

Open to all high school seniors in the United States who will be attending college in 2022 (community college or a 4-year university)

Amount:  $1500

Deadline:  April 1

Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship

Open to current high school seniors with a cumulative 2.5 or above GPA, or current college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors with a cumulative 2.5 or above GPA. Students must be planning to enroll or be already enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. (Majoring or planning to major in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical, and Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.) Students must show demonstrated financial need.

Amount:  (200) $10,000

Deadline:  April 1

Project Yellow Light Video and Radio Scholarships

Open to high school juniors and seniors between the ages of 14 and 20 who will complete graduation requirements by or before July 31, 2022 or 2023, and undergraduate college students between the ages of 15 and 25. The winning applicants will receive a scholarship toward the school of their choice (college, university, junior college, or technical school) or associated school fees.

Award Amount:  $8000, $2000

Deadline:  April 1

CarBrain Scholarship

Open to current high school seniors (Class of 2022) in the United States OR students who are enrolled in a college or university in the United States as a freshman, sophomore, or junior. Students must be enrolled in a U.S. college for the Spring 2023 semester.

Amount:  $1000

Deadline:  April 1 (Changed to November 1 for 2022)

Newton Pens Scholarship

Open to college-bound high school seniors with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Amount:  $500 to $2000 (varies)

Frame My Future Scholarship

Open to any legal U.S. resident who will be a full-time student at a U.S. college or university in the 2022 – 2023 academic year

Amount:  $6000, $2500, $1000, $500

Deadline:  April 1

Zumper Apartments Scholarship (Appears to be on hold for 2022)

Open to college-bound high school seniors and current college students.

Amount:  $1000

Deadline:  April 1 (and November 15)

National High School Essay Contest

Amount:  $2,500 cash prize, an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. to meet U.S. Department of State and USIP leadership, and a full-tuition paid voyage with Semester at Sea upon the student’s enrollment at an accredited university. The runner-up receives a $1,250 cash prize and a full scholarship to participate in the International Diplomacy Program of the National Student Leadership Conference.

Open to U.S. students in grades 9-12.
