College Visits and Scholarship Searching
College visits and scholarship searching to hand-in-hand, but only if you follow these smart tips.
Parents of high school seniors might be filling up their schedules with college visits this time of year, but how many of them are actively helping their students find and apply for scholarships?
Most people assume that scholarship applications are due in the spring of their student’s senior year. While this is true for many applications, there are literally tons of them that are due every month of the year, even September!
Start your college scholarship search EARLY and you will not miss the deadlines that many students will miss. This automatically gives the applicant an edge, as not as many students apply for the scholarships with earlier due dates.
THAT is what helps win college scholarships! To learn how to set your applications apart and make them shine for the judges, check out what others are saying about my scholarship guides: How to Win College Scholarships.
There is a version for parents who want to take an active role in helping their students find and win college scholarships and one for students who are doing it on their own. I have helped so many students win money for college and I want to help you too!
I absolutely LOVE emails such as this one:
“At my daughter’s awards ceremony, they announced the scholarship winners and kept calling her name over and over and over again. It was amazing and everyone was saying that they had never heard of a student at our high school that won SO many scholarships. Thank you for your scholarship guide!”
Have a wonderful day everyone and KEEP APPLYING FOR COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS!!!
