Here is an easy scholarship for $1000!
I just came across a fantastic easy scholarship opportunity that is open to college-bound high school seniors and first-year college students, including new transfer students!
This scholarship is offered by Bey & Associates Law Firm and has an interesting essay prompt and very few applying requirements.
Here are all the details:
At Bey & Associates, LLC, we understand the financial struggles some students go through to pursue higher education. We admire that perseverance and would like to do what we can to make it easier for students to reach their goals and achieve their dreams. As such, our personal injury law firm is offering a once-yearly $1,000 scholarship to students who are attending or planning to attend their first year of college or graduate school.
We have been providing this scholarship opportunity since 2017.
Guidelines for this easy scholarship:
- $1000 award
- Open to students who are attending or planning to attend their first year of college or graduate school (including new transfer students)
- 500+ word essay
- NO financial need requirement
- NO letter of recommendation needed
- Online only submission
- Applicants must have a U.S. mailing address
- Applicants must be attending or planning to attend a college, university, or graduate school in the United States
- Proof of college acceptance: a digital copy (PDF, JPG, or PNG) of an acceptance letter with the official college letterhead. If students do not have a letter, other forms of proof are also accepted, including an email from the college stating acceptance for the first year, digital transcripts, or a screencap of the first course load.
- Deadline: July 16
The essay topic for this year’s award is:
What’s the oddest family tradition you have?
Who started it and when?
What does it entail?
Why is this tradition special to you and your family?
Do you plan to continue it, why or why not?
NOTE: There are several questions to be answered in the essay. Be sure all of them are answered and read this post to write the strongest essay possible.
Your official application should include your essay, a digital copy of your acceptance letter to college or graduate school, and a brief bio telling us about yourself. You may add a photo with your bio if you wish, the option is yours.
WINNING TIPS: The judges are looking for creative answers and memorable essay responses. Essays should start with a hook to draw in the reader using personal details.
The 2021 prompt is a fun one, so students need to write their essays with this in mind.
“We are looking for an essay that explores the prompt in a unique and engaging way. We will be judging the essays based on their creativity and feasibility, as well as the applicant’s ability to properly craft an essay. Correct spelling and grammar matter.”
