National Garden Club Scholarships

Open to current college juniors, seniors, and grad students who are pursuing a career related to gardening, environmental issues, floral design, horticulture, or landscape design.

Association for Women in Mathematics Essay Contest (Open to males and females)

Applicants must be current master’s or doctoral nursing students.

The Roothbert Fund

Award Amount:  $5000-$7000

Open to students whose daily actions are guided by spiritual values. Applicants must be graduate students or undergraduates with one year of college completed. Applications from candidates who reside in or attend schools in the following states are preferred: Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum Scholarships

There are several different scholarships available to students pursuing a career in aviation/aerospace, looking to get their private pilot’s license, or enrolled in an aviation-related program. Read the guidelines for each scholarship carefully.

Harriet Fitzgerald Scholarship (Sunflower Initiative Scholarship)

Open to women who will begin attending an undergraduate women’s college in the United States or Canada in the Fall 2026 term.

EngineerTeen Writing and Design Contest

Open to elementary (grades 3-5), middle (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12) students in the U.S. Homeschool students are also eligible to apply.

John F. and Anna Lee Stacey Scholarship Fund

Award Amount:  $500 to $5000

Open to students interested in the study of form, color, drawing, painting, design, and technique, as these are expressed in modes showing patent affinity with the classical tradition of Western culture.

Dr. Bart Kamen Memorial FIRST Robotics Scholarship

Award Amount: (4) $10,000 (Renewable)

Open to FIRST Robotics students pursuing degrees in biomedical engineering and pre-med.

OOIDA Mary Johnston Scholarship

Award Amount:  (1) $2000, (4) $1000 (Both are renewable for 4 years)

Open to college-bound high school seniors and current college students who are children, grandchildren, and legal dependents of OOIDA members – truck drivers. (Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association) Students must be under the age of 22 as of the scholarship deadline.

SME Education Foundation Scholarships

Award Amounts:  $2500 to $20,000

Open to graduating high school seniors and current college students pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related discipline.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Scholarships

Award Amount:  Varies

Open to high school seniors and current college students. There are different awards open to members and non-members of the Zeta Phi Beta sorority. Students must register and create an account in order to apply. (No fee)

Award Amount:  $1000

Open to high school and current college students who have an interest in teaching, art, science, technology, entrepreneurship, or any other field of study.

+ Landscape Architecture Foundation Scholarships

Award Amounts:  $3000 to $20,000

Open to current undergraduate and/or graduate students enrolled at colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada.

Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Scholarships

Award Amounts:  $1000 to $10,000

Open to students who identify as women and pursue an ABET-accredited bachelor or graduate student program in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology, and fields related to engineering globally. The scholarship reviewers focus on extracurricular activities, work history, volunteerism, and interest and involvement in STEM.

Deadline:  February 2 (They also have scholarships open to college-bound high school seniors, due in March.)

Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship

Award Amounts:  $10,000, $7,500, $5,000 and $2,000

Open to current college students enrolled at an accredited, four-year college or university through the 2026-2027 academic year. Students must have a declared major or minor in accounting, business administration, finance, criminal justice, or a similar fraud-related discipline. Undergraduates must be enrolled in 9 semester hours (or equivalent) per term and must be a junior, senior, or at least in the second half of their sophomore year when applying. Graduates must be enrolled in 6 semester hours (or equivalent) per term.

Elks National Foundation Legacy Awards

Award Amount:  $4000

Open to any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the Order on or before April 1, 2023, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2023, is eligible to apply. The Elk must also be a paid-up member for the last two contiguous years through March 31, 2026. Great-grandchildren are not eligible. Students must be high school seniors.

Northwestern Mutual Cancer-Related Scholarships

Award Amount:  $5,000 (Up to 25 students awarded)

Open to childhood cancer survivors and siblings of those affected by childhood cancer.

Foot Locker Scholarship 

Award Amount:  (19) $20,000, (1) $25,000

Open to college-bound U.S. high school seniors who are committed to sports in some way. Students do not have to plan to play sports in college to apply.

J.W. Pepper’s 150th Anniversary Scholarship

Award Amounts:  (3) $10,000, (51) $3000

Open to high school seniors or graduates who are entering their first full year of college/university. Applicants must plan to enroll in a music education degree program and be a current or former member, in good standing, of one of their high school music programs (Band, Orchestra, or Choir).

Deadline:  February 3 (confirmed by the sponsoring organization)

Community Impact Scholarship

Award Amount:  $2500

Open to undergraduate students (including accepted college-bound high school seniors) who have made a substantial impact in their community through volunteer work.

Deadline:  February 4

Dave Dowling Scholarship

Award Amount:  (2) $1000

Open to students interested in becoming cut flower growers. Students must be working toward a two- or four-year degree, or a graduate degree, in horticulture or floriculture. Applicants must have at least one full year of studies remaining before finishing the degree.

The Balams Firm Scholarship

Award Amount:  $2500

Open to graduating high school seniors who live in the Atlanta metropolitan area. (Class of 2026)

Harris Injury Scholarship

National Press Photographers Foundation (NPPF) Scholarships

Award Amounts:  (13) $2000

Several different scholarship opportunities are open to students with the talent and dedication to photojournalism who need financial help to continue their studies. These awards are directed toward those studying full-time or returning to college. (Undergraduate and graduate students. See each award for specific eligibility requirements.)

Deadline:  February 6

+ American Meteorological Society Scholarships (AMS)

Award Amount:  $2500

Open to students entering their freshman year of college in the fall of 2026 as full-time students and who plan to pursue a degree in the atmospheric or related oceanic or hydrologic sciences.

Deadline:  February 6

Out-of-State Student Scholarship

Award Amount:  $1000

Open to students who are enrolled in or have been accepted to a college or university that is located in a state where they did not attend high school or a state other than where their parents currently live. Applicants must be pursuing an education related to law. College-bound high school seniors are not eligible to apply. They can save this scholarship and apply the following year if they meet all the eligibility requirements.

Open to unmarried military dependent children under the age of 23 who possess a valid Uniformed Services Identification (USID) card. In addition, a student’s parent(s)/sponsor(s) must be one of the following: active duty, reserve/guard, deceased, or retired from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, or Space Force.

Award Amount:  (120) $5000

Open to U.S. students and legal residents who will have graduated from high school by the end of the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants must be pursuing their first associates, undergraduate degree, graduate, or technical school certificate at a 2-year, 4-year, or not-for-profit vocational school. They have to either live in or be planning to attend school in one of the brand’s 17-state footprint. (Find the list here.) The scholarship is open to employees and non-employees of Whataburger.

DGV Charitable Foundation and Scholarship

Award Amount:  $5000 (Renewable up to three years)

Open to high school seniors accepted, or seeking acceptance, to an accredited four-year college or a university. Applicants must be pursuing, or planning to pursue, a degree in a quantitative field such as those in Computer/Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering. Students must be part of an underrepresented demographic in the financial services sector (Women, BIPOC) and demonstrate financial need by having a FAFSA Student Aid Index (SAI) value of $10,000 or less.

+ Shared Energy Future Foundation STEM and Trade scholarship

Award Amount:  (15) $1500 (STEM) and (10) $1000 (Trade School)

Open to high school seniors (Class of 2026) pursuing a career in the STEM field or planning on attending a trade school. Students must plan to attend a full-time accredited U.S. two- or four-year college or university. Applicants must be located in CA, AZ, NV, OR, or WA.

POET Never Satisfied Scholarships

Award Amount:  $2500 to $5000

Open to students enrolled in any accredited two- or four-year post-secondary or technical school, including graduate students, regardless of GPA, are eligible to apply. Majors applicable for these scholarships are Agriculture, Finance, Accounting, Communications, Engineering, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related degrees or minors. Scholarships are only offered to those located in the United States.

Award Amount:  $1000

Open to high school seniors living near a Simon Mall or in the surrounding communities.

Southwest Airlines® Community Scholarship

Award Amount:  (4) Up to $20,000

Open to students who are pursuing higher education and have career interests in the airline industry, including but not limited to: frontline operations, customer service, aircraft maintenance, dispatch, engineering, flight operations, finance, technology, human resources, marketing, sales, or communications. Dependants of Southwest Airlines Employees are not eligible. (Go here for the Southwest Airlines® Founders Scholarship, which is open to students of employees.) Applicants must be graduating high school seniors, previous high school graduates (having received a diploma or equivalent), or current college students.

Dell Scholars Program

Award Amount:  $20,000

Open to college-bound high school seniors participating in an approved college readiness program. Applicants must be Pell Grant eligible.

Award Amounts: “HSF Scholars have access to a full range of invaluable Scholar Support Services, including career services, mentorship, leadership development, knowledge building, and wellness training. Depending upon available funds, HSF Scholars may also be eligible to receive a scholarship, which range from $500-$5,000 and are awarded directly to students.”

Open to college-bound or current college students of Hispanic heritage in the U.S.

Award Amount:  $1000

Open to current college students and college-bound high school seniors who will begin college within six months of when they submit their application.

Philip R. Nathe Scholarship

Award Amount:  $1000

Open to U.S. college students (17 and older) pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university within the United States. Applicants must submit a 3-5 minute video sharing, “What challenges have you and your family faced as you have pursued a college education? How have you overcome these challenges? How do you hope to use your college degree to lead a more fulfilling life?”

Gordon A. Rich Memorial Foundation Scholarship (GAR)

Award Amount:  Up to $60,000 ($15,000 per year)

Open to dependent children of full-time employees in the financial services industry (commercial banks, investment banks, securities brokerage firms, insurance companies, fund and asset management companies, credit card and finance companies, and similar businesses as determined by the Foundation). Employees must be presently employed with five years of experience OR no longer employed in this field but had ten years of experience which ended no longer than five years prior to the GAR Scholarship application closing date. Students must be U.S. graduating high school seniors who are enrolling as full-time first-year students in pursuit of a four-year bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university in the United States.

Open to current high school seniors who plan to attend either a 4-year college, a 2-year community college, or a vocational school after their high school graduation. Applicants must be U.S. residents and be enrolled in an online public school, online private school, or independent study program in the U.S.

Gucci Changemakers Scholars Program (Not yet open for 2026)

Award Amount:  Up to $20,000

Open to students who have at least two semesters remaining as undergraduate students at the start of the Fall 2026 Semester or entering their first year at an undergraduate institution at the beginning of the Fall 2026 semester. Applicants must plan to attend or be enrolled in an accredited two-year community college or four-year college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree within the United States or Canada. Current high school seniors are eligible to apply. Applicants must demonstrate a need for financial assistance by applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Scholarship aid may be applied against tuition, applicable educational expenses, and on-campus room and board.

Jed Foundation Student Voice of Mental Health Awards (Not yet updated for 2026. Directly from the scholarship provider, “The 2026 SVMHA application portal is set to launch in the coming month.”)

Award Amount:  (2) $3000

There are two different scholarship opportunities. One is open to high school juniors or seniors 16 years or older based in the United States, including the District of Columbia. Eligible undergraduate applicants must be currently enrolled sophomore-, junior-, or senior-level college students based in the United States including the District of Columbia.

+ Fly for Duke Aviation Scholarship

Award Amount:  $1000

Open to U.S. citizens who are aspiring aviators between the ages of 17 and 24. Applicants must train at an FAA approved flight school and complete private pilot ground school prior to commencement of flight training.

Open to students in their senior year of high school or those who have graduated high school within the last two years and will enter a 4-year university as a freshman. Applicants must be skilled in math and interested in the actuarial field.

Zillion’s Women in STEM Scholarship

Award Amount:  $2500

Applicants must be females currently enrolled in a STEM field major at an accredited college or university program in the US, have earned a minimum of 30 college-level credit hours, and have a minimum 3.5 GPA.

Open to students who are enrolled in a trade school, undergraduate, graduate program, or any other post-secondary school within the United States. High school seniors who will be enrolled in a trade school or college before the application deadline of February 27, 2026, are also encouraged to apply.

Act of Kindness Scholarship

Award Amount:  $1000

Open to high school juniors or seniors, undergraduate students, or graduate students who are committed to helping others in their schools or communities. Students must be currently enrolled or plan to be enrolled part-time or full-time in an accredited U.S. college or university, vocational/technical, two-year, four-year, or graduate institution.

SBB Research Group Foundation STEM Scholarship

Award Amount:  (12) $2500

Open to students who are currently enrolled as full-time students at a United States college, pursuing a degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics), with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Western Reserve Herb Society Plant Science Scholarships

Award Amounts:  (2) $4000

Open to students who have completed the second/sophomore year of undergraduate study and are enrolled in a bachelor’s degree.

Tall Clubs International Foundation Scholarships

Award Amount:  Minimum of $1000

Open to college-bound graduating high school seniors in the U.S. and Canada who meet the minimum height requirements for membership in Tall Clubs International—5′ 10″ (178 cm) for women and 6′ 2″ (188 cm) for men — in stocking feet.

Deadline:  February 28

No Essay Scholarship by Sallie

Award Amount:  $2000

Sallie will award $2,000 each month to eligible entrants. No essay or account profiles required. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and any US Territory age 16 or older at the time of entry, and who meet one (1) of the four (4) following eligibility requirements at the time of entry: 1) a parent who currently has a child enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the United States; 2) a student who is currently enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the United States; 3) a parent who currently has a child enrolled as a high school senior or junior located within the United States; 4) a student who is currently enrolled as a high school senior or junior who intends to enroll in an accredited college or university located with the United States, within a year of graduating high school (“Entrant”).

Open to any current high school senior, college student, or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States and resides in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia. The applicant must be enrolled in a two to five year post-secondary institution for the Fall 2026 semester.

Award Amount:  $2000

Open to U.S. students 18 and over.

Deadline:  February 28

DAV Jesse Brown Youth Volunteer Scholarship

Award Amounts:  $30,000, $20,000, (2) $15,000, $10,000, (4) $7,500, and (4) $5,000, (2) $2500

Open to student volunteers age 21 or younger who have contributed a minimum of 100 hours credited through DAV or DAV Auxiliary.

Deadline:  February 28

Open to U.S. middle and high school students ages 13 and over.

+ NAWIC Founders’ Scholarship

Award Amount:  (Multiple) $1000

There are two different categories of available scholarships. One is open to U.S. students currently enrolled (not open to high school seniors) in a construction-related degree program, and the other is open to students currently enrolled in a construction-related training program approved by the Bureau of Apprenticeship Training, a community college, a technical school, or an equivalent. (High school seniors are eligible to apply for this award.)

BMW/SAE Engineering Scholarships (Applications accepted for the 2026/27 academic year beginning Feb. 1, 2026)

Award Amount:  Varies

The scholarships are open to undergraduate and graduate engineering students. The website lists many scholarship opportunities, each with its own eligibility requirements.

Award Amount:  $4000

Open to students enrolled in a textile/fashion merchandising or textile/fashion design-related program. Applicants must be rising Juniors, Seniors, or graduate-level college students.

DEWALT Trades Scholarship

Award Amount:  $5000

Open to U.S. and Canadian students who are graduating high school seniors, graduates, or current postsecondary undergraduate students. Applicants must be currently enrolled in or accepted to a post-secondary school or training program, pursuing a high-demand skilled trade, and pursuing educational training related to one of the following industries: construction, industrial, motor/power sector, mechanics, or technology degree/certificate.

Award Amount:  $1000

Open to young people between the ages of 8 and 16 all over the globe who have done creative environmental projects.

Western Reserve Herb Society Scholarship

Award Amount:  (2) $4000

Open to students who have completed the second/sophomore year of undergraduate study and are enrolled in a bachelor’s degree. The applicants for these scholarships must be attending an accredited college or university and have achieved a grade point average of 3.2 or above. Preference is given to applicants who demonstrate coursework in rigorous sciences, exceptional dedication through outside experiences, and whose career goals may involve work in areas such as the public or nonprofit sector, education, sustainability, and research.
