Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
Update on the “Oh the Places You’ll Go” college scholarship
All my winning scholarship secrets are revealed right here >>
Today is the birthday of much-loved children’s book author, Theodor Seuss Geisel, known by most as “Dr. Seuss”. Dr. Seuss passed away in 1991 and is still very much loved and missed. His books will keep his memory alive forever though and his own words bring comfort to those of us who love him the most.
“Remember me and smile, for it’s better to forget than to remember me and cry.”- Dr. Seuss
Unfortunately for scholarship seekers, the “Oh the Places You’ll Go” college scholarship will not be offered again this year. I’ll be sure to share the details if it is offered next year.
Here is a wonderful Dr. Suess quote from his book, “Oh the Places You’ll Go” that challenges anyone to start working toward their dreams and overcome whatever it takes to get there.
“You’re off to Great Places!
Today is your day!
Your mountain is waiting,
So… get on your way!”
― Dr. Seuss

Here is mine from “How The Grinch Stole Christmas”
“And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes, or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”
Have a great day everyone and keep fond memories and meaningful Dr. Seuss quotes close to your heart!
