You may be wondering how the PARENT version differs from the STUDENT version of my How to Win College Scholarships ebooks.
They are similar, but they are written directly to the reader. The student version offers more motivation, since I know how hard it can be for students to get motivated by their own parents. The student version includes a section on how current college students (including grad school students) can find and win scholarships. It also includes suggestions throughout on how students can work with other students in the scholarship process, along with detailed tasks.
The parent version teaches parents to partner with their students in the scholarship process, each with specific roles and responsibilities. Most parents find it extremely helpful that each has their own version. I offer the combo (or bundle) at a deeply discounted price so you can get both, because I’ve seen how much it helps families to have both versions. Applying for scholarships involves so much more than students filling out a form and writing a hasty essay. Doing research into how to apply in ways that impress scholarship judges and review committees pays off big time when students learn what it means to apply SMART. This is what I teach in my ebooks and have been teaching since 2009. Students also need to learn how to write essays that stand out and are memorable, as essays are the heart of scholarship applications.
