Did you know that the Komen College Scholarship program awards scholarship money to students who have lost a parent to breast cancer? They also award scholarships to breast cancer survivors who are no older than 25. From their site:
“Since its inception in 2001, the Komen College Scholarship program has awarded over fifty scholarships to students who have lost parents to breast cancer. Each student receives $10,000 per year for up to four years while pursuing an undergraduate degree.”
This wonderful scholarship opportunity is available to high school seniors, college freshman, sophomores, and juniors.
