What are people saying about How to Win College Scholarships?
“Son is a freshman and so far nothing out of pocket at least for this 1st year. For years 2-4, out of pocket is reasonable and will be paid from 529 so no loans. Remaining $ in 529 is geared for graduate school. But we’re consistently working on outside scholarships. Definitely pick up the How to Win Scholarships guide (ebook). Very valuable info.
One of my son’s scholarship committees were so impressed with his hard copy application they gave him a $100 visa giftcard outside of the normal $500 scholarship. They said the “packet” was so impressive & the heavyweight paper. Also, his interview was impressive as well but they couldn’t get over his packet.” W.Y., Facebook Fan

Thanks for visiting, Carol. Feel free to share this scholarship with your scholarship searching family and friends. 🙂
Nice and simple for a useful sum of money.
I love prompts that make me really think and get creative in solving a problem! Especially when you know these prompts will most likely be utilized within the company. Even if I didn’t win I contributed, though I think they would be better off asking a high school student how to reach out to a Gen Z, those are the young emerging college crowd right now, while many millennials are settling down with families. Gen Z is an awesome generation that needs not to be forgotten!
What a great way at looking at a scholarship essay prompt! Thanks for reading and sharing. 🙂
Thank you, Gale. I’m glad you found my scholarship blog!
Thanks for sharing this information. I’m sharing with my brother, whose children are college bound this year and in two years.
Great, thank you Pennie!
