Today’s college scholarship is for students who are interested, or currently enrolled, in a mental health therapy or chiropractic program.  It is the Therapy Professionals Scholarship from MedicareSupplementalInsurance.com

Here are the important details for this mental health therapy and chiropractic college scholarship:

  • Students must be at least 17 years old and U.S. citizens or valid visa holders
  • Students must have at least a 3.0 G.P.A. based on the previous years grades
  • $1000 award to be used for an accredited institution in the U.S. in mental health therapy or chiropractic programs
  • Deadline is December 15
  • 500-1000 word essay required

Winning Tips:  The essay prompt outlined in the “Application Process” section is slightly different from the one printed on the actual scholarship application, so making sure all details of both prompts are written about is critical to submitting a fully answered essay.  Do not skimp on the “About Yourself” section on the application and highlight any community service done in the mental health therapy or chiropractic fields.  Share personal details in the essay about actual situations that may have occurred while volunteering or working in these fields.
