Military Dependent Scholarship for College
This military dependent scholarship helps students pay for any educational expense. If you have a parent in the military, this scholarship is for you!
Students with military parents face unique challenges. I recently found this military dependent scholarship and highly encourage all students who meet the requirements to apply. The scholarship money will be sent to the winning student to be used for any educational expense, making this opportunity even sweeter.
The application is very simple and straightforward, so students, if you qualify, apply today! This is a yearly award, so if you do not qualify yet, add it to your scholarship list and apply when you meet the requirements.

Here are all the details:
Barnett Howard & Williams PLLC is now accepting applications for the firm’s Military Dependent Scholarship. The award will be paid directly to the student, and can be used for any expenses related to college education, including but not limited to tuition, room, board, books, or commuting expenses.
Military dependents that are high school seniors or any year in college are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Candidates should submit a cover letter that details their family’s military service and explains the career goals of the candidate.
Cover letters should also include the following information:
- Email Address
- Street, City, State & Zip Code
- Phone Number
- University Name & City, State
- Student ID
- GPA (minimum 2.5)
- High School
- Expected College Graduation Date
Candidates are encouraged to submit, along with their letter, a valid dependent ID, or a DD-214 from one of their parents.
*The deadline for submissions is August 1st of every year and the award will be announced on August 15th.
The information submitted by students can be emailed or mailed in. I highly encourage students to use the unique strategies found in my scholarship guide to mail-in their applications in order to submit an application that will get noticed by the judges.
