QASymphony Software Testing College Scholarship
The QASymphony Software Testing College Scholarship has no GPA requirement!
Today I’d like to tell you about the QASymphony Software Testing College Scholarship.
(2021 Update: Please read the NOTE at the end of this post before reading further)
The beauty of this scholarship is that it is brand new and will not have as many applicants this year as compared to longer established and more well known scholarships.
Here are all the scholarship details:
- $1000 scholarship award
- Open to students who have been accepted into college and current college students
- NO G.P.A requirement
- NO letter of recommendation needed
- NO school transcripts required
- 500-word essay requirement
- Deadline: November 1 (Date passed? Save this scholarship to your list for next year!)
The essay prompt is straightforward and uncomplicated:
QASymphony wants to hear why you believe software development or software testing is important. This should be a short essay (min 500 words).
Winning Tips: First, don’t skip this scholarship, especially if you know anything about computer software development and/or testing.
- This is a new scholarship and the applicant pool will be smaller than normal, which automatically increases the chances of winning for the students who do apply.
Learn about the company, QASymphony, and bring some of this knowledge into the essay, as I share in this smart tip. The essay is the main component of this scholarship application, so be sure to start with a hook and cover all the points of a great essay that can be found here. Write the essay in another program and then copy and paste it into the scholarship application, so information does not get lost while saving during the submission process.
