Are there scholarships for college students to apply for or are they mostly for high school students?
I get this question a LOT!

I get asked this question frequently:
Are there scholarships for college students?
The answer is YES! Searching for them, however, is a bit different than how you may have found scholarships when you were in high school.
Your best method of finding scholarships if you are already in college is to become a regular at your own college website.
Each one has a “scholarship” section and lists the many scholarships that the college offers for current students.
In addition to this, most colleges also list scholarships that are from “outside” to which anyone can apply.
These “outside” scholarship lists are an awesome way to find scholarships for college students, even if you don’t plan on attending that school!
This is one way that I found several scholarships that my own son applied for.
I searched through college websites and found their scholarship lists.
It didn’t matter that he was not applying to go to that school.
The lists were long, detailed, and had links to some GREAT scholarship opportunities.
So, in college or not, there are a TON of scholarship opportunities out there. You just need to know where to look.
