Scholarships for Students With Learning Disabilities
Scholarships for students with learning disabilities can be tricky to find, but they are out there.
Are you looking for college scholarships for students with learning disabilities?
Hey everyone, I was contacted this week by the Rise Scholarship Foundation asking me to share their scholarship details on my site. I often get emails from parents and students wondering if there are any scholarships out there for students with learning disabilities, so I’m happy to share this one.

The RISE Scholarship Foundation, Inc. was established in 2010 to award high school graduates who are heroically starting on their college pursuits.
These students have endured the challenges of having a diagnosis of a learning disability, which is a neurological condition that can make it difficult to acquire certain academic and social skills.
Statistics show that only 13% of students with LD, attend college within two years of graduating high school.
In order to ensure that students, with learning differences, see the importance of accepting their differences and working hard to overcome the challenges they face, it becomes imperative for educators, therapists, and parents to look for ways to build self-esteem and to stress the importance of continuing their educational pursuits. One way that this can be accomplished is by recognizing and rewarding success stories.
Here is a scholarship for students with learning disabilities!
RISE is recognizing certain students’ hard work and dedication by selecting recipients for a $2500 scholarship, payable to the college they decide to attend.

NOTE: I removed the link because as of 2019, the Rise Foundation is no longer offering their scholarship. I will update this post if and when the scholarship is reinstated. Go to this post to find more scholarships for students with learning disabilities.
