Did you know that different states have different dates in which they require your FAFSA to be filed by in order for you to be considered for STATE aid?
In other words, there is the date that the government wants you to file your FAFSA by AND the date that your state wants you to file your FAFSA by.
Sure, you can file your FAFSA by the government date only, but why would you do that when filing the same form could get you state aid if it is filed by the date required by YOUR state?
