August scholarships can be easily overlooked as students are thinking about heading back to school and enjoying the last days of summer. This means less competition for the smart and savvy students who apply!
Before we know it, summer will be over, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any summer scholarships left to apply for.

Open to high school seniors (Class of 2022) or college students attending an accredited college or university.

Melissa Linville Criminal Justice Scholarship
Award Amount: $500
Open to students who are currently enrolled in college, or recent high school graduates who are pursuing post-secondary education with the goal of a career in the criminal justice field.

Open to current college-level students, as well as current high school students.

Open to students with financial need who are enrolled in a vocational school, trade school, or community college.

Open to African American students who graduated high school in the spring of 2022 and are college-bound in the fall of 2022. There are several preferred degree paths as outlined in the scholarship requirements. I was emailed about this scholarship because there have not been many applicants so far.

Open to students who have been accepted or are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the U.S.
