IF YOU’RE A HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR DEDICATED TO LEARNING, LEADING, AND PERFORMING, you HAVE EXACTLY WHAT IT TAKES to become a Wendy’s High School Heisman scholarship winner.
Eligibility begins with maintaining a weighted GPA of 3.0 (B average) or better.
Applicants also need to be proven leaders and role models within their school and community.
Students must participate or have participated in grades 9, 10, or 11 in at least one of the sports recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games, the Paralympic Games, or the National Federation of State High School Association.
Scholarship Levels for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Scholarship:
- State Winner $1000 (One male and one female from each state)
- National Finalists $2000 (Six males and six females)
- National Winners $10,000 (One male and one female)

Hi Renae, when you click on the link towards the bottom of the post (“WENDY’S HIGH SCHOOL HEISMAN SCHOLARSHIP” in blue text), it takes you to the website of the Heisman Scholarship, and there you will find all of the rules and eligibility guidelines.
quick question – I have been trying to find the application for the Wendy’s HS Heisman Scholarship for 2024-2025. The link states 23-24 and I searched online for the current application, Any insight?
The 2024 application has not been released yet. You can sign up here to get a reminder when it does open, but they have changed the message on that page and are now referring to seniors in the class of 2026. I reached out to them to try and find out what is going on.
